Overview

INDICATA, the global leader in business intelligence and analytics solutions for used car operations to the automotive industry and part of
the AUTOROLA Group, is seeking a Global Key Account Director to support our rapid expansion and growth.


The Global Key Account Director will have to develop the business by increasing market share and strengthening the existing business.
Working from our German office in Hamburg the Global Account Director reports to the Global Managing Director INDICATA and works
with the global INDICATA sales teams across Europe, Asia-Pacific and Americas.

Responsibilities

  • Owns overall relationship with assigned international clients (car manufacturers and large dealer groups) which include new business development, increasing adoption, ensuring retention and satisfaction
  • Responsible for the development and achievement of sales through the direct sales channel
  • Manages customer success activities incl. onboarding, training, customer support, renewals, cross-sell/up-sell
  • Plays an integral role in new business pitches and holds responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new major clients
  • Establishes a trusted/strategic advisor relationship with each assigned client and drive continued value of our products and services
  • Prepares and maintains business plans for all current and opportunity tender businesses
  • Works with clients to establish critical goals or other key performance indicators and aid the customer in achieving their goals
  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
  • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis

 

Skills and Experience

  • Master degree (or equivalent) in business
  • At least 5 years of experience in direct sales
  • Proven success in large account management and with international accounts in the automotive industry
  • SaaS (Software as a Service) experience within a high-velocity business preferred
  • A proven track record in managing and delivering international client relationships.
  • Strategic thinker, problem solver, proactive with ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Ability to work in a rapidly expanding and changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage both direct and indirect opportunities
  • A high level of intensity to work with an experienced, motivated leadership team focused on creating a significantly sized company in a short timeframe 
  • A passion for excellence including an innate desire to build a metric driven business
  • Strong analytical and writing abilities
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Fanatical work ethic
  • Fluent level in English and German
  • Proficient knowledge of Salesforce.com
  • Ability to travel
