Nissan GB renews INDICATA partnership to boost used car sales

Nissan GB has renewed its partnership agreement with INDICATA as it continues to focus on used car sales efficiencies across its dealer network.

INDICATA has been in use by Nissan’s used car head office function and its team of field-based used car managers for the past 12 months, during which time the system has helped the vehicle manufacturer’s approved dealer network sell more used cars more often. The dealer network typically has around 10,000 used cars in stock at any one time.

The renewed agreement will see INDICATA provide Nissan GB with own brand data insights as the vehicle manufacturer continues to focus attentions on the importance and value of the used vehicle market.

“INDICATA’s powerful market insights have proved highly valuable over the past 12 months in developing both our national used car sales strategy and our dealers locally,” explained David Ardern, Nissan GB’s national used car manager.

“The renewed agreement sees us move to the next phase of our used car strategy by focusing specifically on own brand insights and ensuring our dealers have access to real time market information continuing to drive our network’s competitiveness within the sector.”

David continued, “Ultimately, we want our dealers to sell more used Nissan cars, helping to drive additional profitability into their used car businesses.”

INDICATA processes and analyses used car market data freely available in the public domain and turns it into live powerful market dynamic insights, including demand, supply, pricing and inventories. This can be analysed at a local, regional or national level.

Jon Mitchell, INDICATA’s group sales director commented: “Our partnership with Nissan GB has proved highly successful in helping optimise efficiency across its used car operations.

“We look forward to moving into the next phase of our relationship with Nissan GB and supporting its dealer network in continuing to maximise efficiencies across its used car business.”

Autorola, parent company of INDICATA continues to support Nissan GB’s dealer network in selling over age stock and unwanted part exchanges via its online used car portal.
