West End Garage ŠKODA announces the roll out of INDICATA real time used car management portal
West End ŠKODA has celebrated the opening of its brand-new Stirling showroom by installing the INDICATA real time used vehicle management system across its three sites in Scotland.
Following a group overview trial, West End ŠKODA has rolled INDICATA out to Retailer Principals and Sales Managers across the group to keep a close eye on the performance and efficiency of all aspects of its used car operation.
“The system is very powerful as it provides a detailed view on all aspects of our used car operation across the three sites alongside cars offered by rival dealers. It gives us a good idea of the products that are fast moving and those cars that aren’t moving that we need to act upon,” explained Daniel Houghton Head of Business.
“Used cars are a vital area of our business and each site can use INDICATA’s market insights proactively, while I can access the system to give me a group-wide overview of our stock which is highly valuable. It should enable us to sell more used cars more often,” he added.
West End is one of the UK’s leading independent ŠKODA dealers and has represented the franchise for more than 30 years. It has around 200 used cars in stock at any one time across the group with sites in Stirling, Edinburgh and Dunfermline.
“We have finetuned INDICATA for West End to enable it to track all the group used stock listed on its website. The team have all received training now and it will be exciting to see how its used car operation will further develop over the coming months with the help of INDICATA market insights,” explained Neil Gilligan, INDICATA’s National Business Development Manager.
West End also uses parent company Autorola’s online remarketing portal to sell over-age, duplicate or non-franchise stock.
